Saba - Check out the above Hover Video Widget. The looping doesn't work great,, and I don't know if we can hide the buttons, but this is close.... no THUMBNAIL still image is needed, no zoom in effect - the video will stop and play on hover.
This above video is using code to play on hover -- this might work too - a little lag at the end, and the play controls are there, which we would need to hide, but another possible option.
